These Terms of Service govern use of Tourism Vancouver Island, an independent informational travel guide operated by The Travel Spark Company LLC. This website is not a governmental agency or an official tourism authority.

Informational purpose

Content is provided for general trip-planning and editorial purposes. Conditions, access, weather, transport, closures, prices, schedules, availability, and provider terms can change. Confirm time-sensitive information with the relevant operator, park, transport provider, government source, or community before travelling.

No professional advice

The site does not provide legal, medical, financial, safety, immigration, or emergency advice. Outdoor travel involves risk. Choose activities appropriate to your experience, prepare for conditions, follow closures and local guidance, and use qualified professionals where appropriate.

Respectful travel

Users are expected to respect land, water, wildlife, private property, cultural protocols, community rules, permits, and applicable laws. Indigenous communities, businesses, art, knowledge, language, and cultural materials must not be treated as public-domain decoration or used without permission.
